Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ) discussed fighting judges who have placed roadblocks against President Donald Trump's agenda in a recent appearance on Steve Bannon's War Room, saying it was "really simple" to determine the route of resistance the left would take.
Posting the clip to X (formerly Twitter), Rep. Crane added, "Activist judges are trying to deny the American people the agenda they voted for. Congress has the authority to step in, and we should. Otherwise, these overly empowered activist judges will keep abusing their power for partisan purposes."

Within the clip, he described how "one of the things we saw early on was [that] they, the Democrats, did not control the House, did not control the Senate, [and] did not control the executive. And so what were they going to do? It was really easy to identify the play call. The play call was to use these radical leftwing judges to try and stop the Trump Administration."
"And so we have Article I powers of impeachment. And so I said, 'Hey, let's throw down. Let's send a shot across their bow; let's put these judges on notice that they can be impeached if they overstep their authority and try to stop the President from exercising his constitutional authority. And so it was really simple," Rep. Crane continued, noting that Representatives Andrew Clyde (R-GA), Andy Ogles (R-TN), and Brandon Gill (R-TX) have filed or cosponsored articles of impeachment against judges.
Host Steve Bannon asked the Arizona Congressman if Republican leadership was as willing to fight against these judges as the base and sponsors of these articles, to which Crane said, "They are as fired up, but I definitely do know that they understand how big of a problem this is in enacting the agenda that President Trump promised the American people."
However, he noted that Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) told him there were not enough votes to carry out any of the impeachments on these judges. As a result, Bannon asked what must be done to move the impeachments forward.
"Well, we have got to turn up the heat," Crane answered, "This is one of those times where we can use their political weakness against them. And when I say them, I mean the political establishment, these do not like to get blown up. They do not like to get put in tough situations."
Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has similarly introduced a bill titled the Injunctive Authority Clarification Act. This act prohibits federal courts from issuing injunctive orders that bar enforcement of a federal law or policy against a nonparty unless a party in a class action lawsuit represents the nonparty.
