The border crisis has become a top issue for many voters as the 2024 Election comes down to the wire, and Arizona House candidate Abe Hamadeh (R) said the Grand Canyon State would vote Republican in November as a result in recent comments to Fox News Digital.
"The Democrats are going to be surprised when [Arizona] got for President Trump this time around. Why? Because the border is the number one issue for everybody," Hamadeh began, adding that constituents in Arizona's Eighth Congressional District talk about it frequently.
"They see the effects of the border crisis every single day, and we had nighttime burglaries and robberies happening in Arizona and Maricopa County, particularly where these illegal immigrants from Chile, this Chilean gang, that was breaking into people's homes. You are starting to see not just crime on the streets in the inner city, but it was going into the suburbs," Hamadeh continued.
In February, Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake (R) similarly spoke of an illegal alien gang nicknamed the "Dinnertime Bandits" who committed a series of burglaries in the early evening in Scottsdale, which Hamadeh is seemingly referring to in his comments.
Additionally, the former Army Captain spoke in support of designating the drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations "because they bring in the plague of fentanyl, and my district, which is in northwest Phoenix, this is, you know, a growing district, you see so many people who have lost family members from fentanyl that is all coming in from the Communist Chinese, and they bring that to the drug cartels south of the border, and they are funneling it into the city."
Moreover, Hamadeh mocked Vice President Kamala Harris's apparent flip-flops on the border, suggesting "everybody knows it is a joke" and calling her "the most radical person to run for president."
"Everybody who is [in] law enforcement, border patrol, anybody who knows what is going on is supporting President Trump because Kamala Harris is in a position of power and has done nothing about it. So we all know that this is her attempt at trying to just get votes, but we know that the radical left is adamant about keeping our border open, and it is creating a national security risk," Hamadeh concluded.
