Lake Says 'Every Single State Suffering' from Border Crisis

A key tenet of Kari Lake's Senatorial campaign is halting the ongoing border crisis with help from President Donald Trump once he returns to office. Lake described the effects of the crisis in a recent appearance on Fox News's Sunday Morning Futures, where she said, "Every single state is suffering because of this, and some very bad people are coming in who are going to hurt Americans."

Lake posted the clip on X (formerly Twitter), where she accused President Biden, Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), and Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I-AZ) of having "sacrificed the security of the American people to facilitate an influx of cheap labor into our country. This invasion was a deliberate choice. It's an unforgivable one. President Trump supports me because he knows I will go to the US Senate to help him finish that border wall, stop this invasion, & keep Americans safe."

During the segment, Lake gave details on how illegal immigrants have been responsible for a crime surge in Arizona, such as the "Dinnertime Bandits," who have committed a string of early-evening burglaries in Scottsdale, along with the massive numbers of fentanyl smuggled into the country.

"It has got to stop. Joe Biden could stop it first thing tomorrow morning if he really wanted to, but he does not. This is by design. I think he created this problem intentionally," said Lake, reaching a conclusion made by several Florida Republicans such as Representatives Carlos Gimenez (R-FL) and Kat Cammack (R-FL).

Additionally, Lake suggested "a big majority [of illegal immigrants] are here for nefarious reasons" because most are military-age men, and "many of them are indentured servants. They come here, and they have to pay off their bill to the cartel. And then you have got the criminal element, which I think is growing by the day," referencing the recent murder of Laken Riley by an illegal immigrant.

Thus, she concluded that "the American people have had enough" as migrants continue to be distributed across the country. "Every single state is suffering because of this, and some very bad people are coming in who are going to hurt Americans."
