Criminal illegal aliens, most notably the notorious Venezuelan prison gang Tren de Aragua (TdA), have continued to be a growing concern among Americans as the 2024 Election comes down to its final days, which Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) commented on during an appearance on Tony Perkins' radio show/podcast Washington Watch, saying the media cannot deny or downplay it anymore.

Perkins began the discussion by noting that Rep. Biggs has been a vocal critic of the Biden-Harris Administration's border policy since Arizona is a border state. He asked if Rep. Biggs believed the crisis had "reached a boiling point" that left-leaning media could no longer ignore.
"Yes, I think it has," Rep. Biggs answered, "And I will tell you why: You have mentioned the Tren de Aragua gang. You have mentioned it has taken place in Colorado, Texas, New York City, [and] also in Chicago, they have had tremendous inroads, successful inroads in Chicago."
NewsNation provided some detail into Tren de Aragua's presence in Chicago specifically, noting that they are supposedly clashing with native gangs and have supposedly taken over apartment buildings similar to the events in Aurora, Colorado, that went viral in recent weeks. However, the extent and level of TdA's activity remains unverified.
The New York Post described how a youth gang tied to TdA nicknamed "Los Diablos de la 42," Spanish for "Little Devils of 42nd Street," with members as young as 11 years old, has carried out multiple robberies in Manhattan largely unchecked thanks to New York's juvenile crime laws.
Nevertheless, the Arizona Congressman said, "People are seeing that very dangerous gang emerge as a real criminal organization. But you are also seeing that crime is going up everywhere else in the country as a result of this influx of illegal immigrants. I mean, think about it: there is probably not a day that goes by where you are not seeing a murder, multiple rapes, etcetera."
More egregiously, Biggs concluded, not only has the Biden-Harris Administration allowed "literally millions of people" into the country, but because of lax vetting, "hundreds of thousands of them are criminals."
A recent report disturbingly revealed that approximately 600,000 illegal aliens with criminal convictions or pending charges have entered the United States, including 13,099 who have been convicted of homicide and 15,811 who have been convicted of sexual assault. Moreover, 62,231 have been convicted of assault, and 56,533 have been found guilty of a drug charge.
