Trump Fine Dismissed

Representatives Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) made celebratory statements on X (formerly Twitter) after a New York appeals court dismissed a massive $500 million civil penalty issued to President Donald Trump by New York Attorney General Letitia James.

President Trump was convicted of fraudulently overstating his wealth to lenders and insurers last February in a 3-month trial brought forth by James and presided over by Judge Arthur Engoron. Engoron ordered Trump to pay over $500 million (including interest) as a civil penalty.

Representative Eli Crane: Democrats and their allies in the corporate media have promoted massive lies over the past decade. None are more significant than the now-debunked Russia Collusion Hoax. Those who orchestrated this coup attempt must be held fully accountable. No one is above the law.

Representative David Schweikert: Americans deserve a federal government that is committed to protecting taxpayers and their hard-earned money. The DETECT Act will examine how advanced technology can uncover undetected fraud, close enforcement gaps, and recover stolen tax dollars.

Representative Abe Hamadeh: The month before the 2016 election, James Comey was weaponizing intelligence leaks to try to bring down then-candidate Trump. Federal prosecutors discovered this during @POTUS's first term & DECLINED to bring charges. There MUST be accountability.

Representative Greg Stanton: $156M in Solar for All funding = Lower utility bills Clean energy jobs Solar for tribal & rural communities Trump’s decision to gut it is a betrayal of Arizona families.

Representative Yassamin Ansari: Disgusting waste, fraud, and abuse. Trump forced through the largest wealth transfer in history while stripping 17M people of their health insurance. All of this to give billions to ICE & now flashy “DEFEND THE HOMELAND” wraps on ICE SUVs? That’s GOP’s America.
