U.S. Agency for Global Media senior advisor Kari Lake commented on the recent arrest of Wisconsin Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly obstructing the arrest of an illegal alien in a recent appearance on Fox News's Sunday Morning Futures, saying, "If you break the law, you end up being charged."

Judge Dugan was arrested last week after supposedly attempting to obstruct the seizure of Eduardo Flores Ruiz, a previously deported illegal alien charged with attacking a man and a woman to the point that both victims required hospitalization.

Tom Homan, President Donald Trump's "Border Czar," spoke of the arrest amidst outcry, saying, "If you actively impede our enforcement efforts or if you knowingly harbor or conceal illegal aliens from ICE, you will be prosecuted. These actions are felonies. More to come."

Does Texas have a constitutional right to defy Supreme Court on protecting its border?

Lake expressed a similar sentiment during her discussion with Maria Bartiromo on the case, saying, "If you break the law, you end up being charged."

"If you break the law, you end up in handcuffs. And it appears that this judge broke the law, and we are making sure that the law is applied here," Lake continued, adding, "It does not matter if you are a judge or you are a regular, everyday person, and so I think if she broke the law and if what is said about what happened [had] transpired in that courthouse is true, then she deserves to be, frankly, in handcuffs and arrested. She will get her due process, and we will figure out what happened."

Nevertheless, Lake emphasized the importance of deporting illegal aliens, calling Dugan's apparent defense of a man accused of harming two people "appalling," further suggesting that her actions and the outcry her arrest has caused are "just an attempt to stop President Trump and his America First agenda that the people overwhelmingly voted for."

Meanwhile, in Congress, Representatives Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Eli Crane (R-AZ) have both discussed using their powers over the judiciary to rein in judges who have issued multiple injunctions against President Trump.
