Does Texas have a constitutional right to defy Supreme Court on protecting its border?
"We are devastated by her passing, but take comfort knowing that she is at peace with the Lord," Rep. Biggs's statement continued, adding, "We are grateful our family could gather together to spend her final days by her side. Thank you, everyone, for your thoughts, prayers, and support. We are humbled by this great community and the outpouring of love for Cosette and our family."
Cosette is survived by her parents, Rep. Biggs and his wife Cindy, five siblings, husband, three children, and eight nieces and nephews.
Support has come from Biggs' colleagues in Congress and across Arizona.
"This is heartbreaking news. Congressman Hamadeh is keeping the Biggs family in his thoughts and prayers," said Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ).

In mid-March, Arizona lost Representative Raúl Grijalva (D-AZ) to cancer at age 77.
"Serving Southern Arizona was the honor of Raul M. Grijalva's life. Having represented our communities for over 50 years was a privilege. We thank all of you for the trust, support, and the partnership that you gave to Rep. Grijalva over the years. We are especially grateful to Rep. Grijalva's family for their friendship and keeping it 'all about the love,'" Rep. Grijalva's X account posted.
Cactus Politics extends its condolences to the Biggs and Grijalva families.
