Governor Katie Hobbs: I am aware of reports of complications with 911 calls in Arizona and other states. My administration and I are actively engaged on the issue and working with local and county public safety agencies to keep our communities safe. I want to be clear: there is no statewide outage of the 911 system. If you are experiencing an emergency and are in need of help, call 911 and local emergency responders will be prepared to assist you. Follow local guidance on alternate ways to contact your 911 providers if you are unable to connect.
AZ Attorney General Kris Mayes: APS customers with solar panels were blindsided by a rate hike that the public was never told about. My office will keep fighting for the rights of utility customers.
AZ Secretary of State Adrian Fontes: Our objective is straightforward: To maintain secure, lawful, and uninterrupted elections & operations, regardless of external pressures, domestic or otherwise, that allows all eligible voters to register and vote. Secretary Fontes addressed the Senate Democrats’ Election Protection Task Force today in Washington, DC.
State Representative Joseph Chaplik: I have fought for election integrity since elected in 2020. 45 bills sponsored to fix problems affecting elections in AZ. I co-sponsored another huge bill, Arizona Secure Elections Act, which was primary-sponsored by my seatmate @realAlexKolodin.
State Representative Nick Kupper: If it wasn’t clear before, this should crystallize that this budget was & is a Republican budget that Hobbs had no option but to sign. This demonstrates how feckless Hobbs is & why we need @andybiggs4az in the Governor’s office next January.
State Representative Teresa Martinez: Thank you @FreedomLoverAZ for the invite!!!!!
State Representative Pamela Carter: Our kids deserve protection online. I championed Cade's Law to hold predators accountable. Signed into law. That's what fighting for Arizona families looks like.
Maricopa County Supervisor Mark Stewart: It’s looking like voters will see a two page ballot again this November, which means additional time is needed to process and count ballots. Correction: Arizona law currently allows counties to tabulate early ballots before election night. A bill that would have allowed cut off for late-early ballots on Friday before Election Day was vetoed. Had it become law, counties could have reported a significantly higher percentage of results on Election Night and reduced the number of ballots remaining to be counted afterward. Regardless of the challenges, I have tremendous confidence in our election staff and volunteers. They are dedicated professionals who will work as quickly, accurately, and securely as possible to process ballots and deliver results that voters can trust.
