Border Czar Tom Homan appeared before a special joint session of the Arizona Legislature to address the border crisis, highlighting the Trump Administration's work in preventing entry and deporting illegal aliens.
"Let's talk about the truth of what is going on at the border," Homan began. "The Biden Administration created the most significant immigration crisis in the history of this nation. We went from the most secure border in my lifetime to unprecedented immigration. Well, now we have got President Trump, who happens to be the greatest president of my lifetime, back in office, and we will secure the border. We have already done it. We are going to run the biggest deportation operation in the history of this nation. We are going to find these missing kids."
From there, Homan highlighted the massive drop in illegal entries by 94%, which "President Trump did in five weeks, but Joe Biden would not or did not even attempt to do in four years, which proved he had the ability to do it all along. We did not need new laws from Congress. We just needed a new president. We got it."

"And when you have 94% less people coming, how many women are not being raped every day by the cartel? How many children are not dying on the border every day? How many pounds of fentanyl are not getting into the country to kill Americans? How many people on the terrorist watchlist are not coming to our border?" Homan further asked, pointing out that the Biden Administration released 184,000 illegal aliens into the country in his first two months of office. Trump, meanwhile, only released nine.
Homan claimed that the number of known gotaways who entered the country since Trump took office has also dramatically dropped, from 1,800 a day under Biden to just 41.
"Is that good? It is very good, but I will be happy with zero," Homan added.
