Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) discussed President Donald Trump's first week in office tackling border security in recent comments to Fox News Digital, further saying how "beautiful" it was that Republicans in the House were united behind the President.
Rep. Hamadeh began by suggesting Trump had "learned a lot from 2017; now he knows exactly what to do" to fulfill his agenda and deliver to the American people, starting by deporting the most dangerous illegal aliens in the country en masse, whom he accused the Biden Administration of favoring over American "second-class" citizens.
"It has happened so fast, and that is exactly his style of leadership. He knows he has no time to waste, and[he is] delivering the results for the American people— They voted for these policies back on November 5th, and so far, so good," Rep. Hamadeh continued.
Moreover, he torched Democrats who previously voted against the Laken Riley Act, which is now headed to Trump's desk, "but now they are supporting it because they see, electorally, that it is beneficial to them."
As a result, the Arizona Congressman warned that "we always have to be cognizant that. A lot of these Democrats do not have any principles that they are standing on. They just saw that they got shellacked in the election on November 5th, so they are trying to moderate themselves or at least appear moderate."
However, Hamadeh also noted that "what is different about this time around versus 2017 now [is] a lot of Republicans are on the same page. Leadership is on the same page. We are all working together, no matter if you are a moderate, no matter if you are a MAGA. It is a testament to see how Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) won his speakership on the first vote," further referencing the Kevin McCarthy debacle.
"It is something to see; it is really beautiful out here," Hamadeh added, concluding by saying, "So just seeing the action that President Trump is doing so fast, and his team is doing so fast, is a testament to his leadership style. It is something that Congress must emulate and must back him up in."
