Republicans are lashing out at Congress and the continuing resolution to keep the government funded through March 14th. While many Republicans have taken to social media to share their disapproval of the bill, those same Republicans are calling out congressional leadership as the root cause of the issue. In a bold move, Arizona Rep. Eli Crane (R) has shared his frustration on social media, urging Congress to stop "selling out the American people."

The CR stood at over 1,500 pages, and the government spending it would ensure has small-government Republicans' blood boiling.
With the election of President-elect Donald Trump (R) and the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Republicans seemed ready to address government spending and government waste. However, the CR bill and the looming deadline to keep the government's lights on have exacerbated Republican infighting.
During an appearance on Real America's Voice, Rep. Crane unloaded on Congress, reminding them of the mandate that President-elect Trump's victory in November means for the House. In speaking about the controversial CR bill, the Arizona Republican called it an effort to sabotage the incoming Trump Administration because it would "kick spending into next year."
Congress needs to wake up and acknowledge that the American people delivered a mandate to turn this sinking ship around.

Rep. Crane expressed that Congress needs to "wake up" and acknowledge President-elect Trump's victory in November. "The American people gave us a mandate to turn this sinking ship around," he added, suggesting that Congress should "quit playing games up here."
Calling the CR bill "a horrible, pretty disastrous CR/omnibus bill," Rep. Crane noted that ""it's got a bunch of nonsense in it, a bunch of pork."
That "nonsense" includes giving a raise to members of Congress.
The Arizona Republican joked that he would like a raise, but he doesn't feel like Congress has earned the right to get one.
"I think it's important to remember that our bosses are the American people, and I think the approval rating from the American people of Congress is probably in the single digits," he said.
