Earlier this month, Kari Lake (R) released a video on social media, thanking her supporters for the "movement of love" that backed her senatorial run against now Arizona Senator-elect Ruben Gallego (D). The video seemingly insinuated that her political career was over, but in the political landscape, nothing is ever really over. During a recent interview, Lake commented on what's next for her while not ruling out another run for office.
Arizona's senate race to replace outgoing Senator Kyrsten Sinema (I) was a close race, but voters rejected Lake despite embracing President Donald Trump (R) for president. This marks the second race that Lake loses after losing the 2022 gubernatorial race to now Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs (D).
With another loss, questions naturally began to circulate over her political future. Though she's not offering a direct answer at the moment, she didn't rule out the possibility of running for office again. In fact, she insinuated it.

During an interview with Rob Finnerty on Newsmax, Lake said that she's currently focused on "cheering on President Trump from the sidelines" and enjoying the holiday season with her family. After a laborious campaign season, the conservative firebrand is taking time to unwind and recalibrate before making a more formal decision regarding her political future.
"I'm actually loving the media melting down over [President Trump's] choices because, to me, that means he's picking good people," she expressed. "If the mainstream media is losing their minds, President Trump is making some great picks."
"I don't know what's next for me. I'm actually looking at a lot of different things, and I'm gonna make some decisions in the coming weeks after after enjoying the holidays with my family," she said, adding that she would announce her decision "after the first of the year."
