Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ) recently appeared at a field hearing regarding the urgent border crisis in Sahuarita, Arizona. In an appearance on Garret Lewis's Afternoon Addiction radio show, he passionately expressed his view, stating that he could not "describe as anything less than treasonous to what [the Biden Administration] have done to this country, for what they have done to American families."
Rep. Crane posted the interview to X (formerly Twitter), where he added, "The Biden Admin has engaged in treasonous actions at our southern border. On Day One, they signed executive orders to nullify effective policies, & have since rejected solutions like H.R.2 & targeted states for defending their citizens. Thanks to @GarretLewis for having me on."

Does Texas have a constitutional right to defy Supreme Court on protecting its border?
Within the clip, the Arizona Congressman noted that "treason" was "a very strong word, but I can only sit through so many of these hearings where I hear about the hundreds of thousands of families that have been destroyed from fentanyl, the increase of individuals on the terror watchlist, the MS-13 gang members coming over raping and killing American daughters, all the drugs coming over the southern border, and everything else."
As a result, Rep. Crane said the only plausible explanation was that "the Biden Administration knows exactly what is going on. We know that they have orchestrated this, we know how many executive orders he signed on day one. I mean, there is no way they do not know what they have done, and when you are obligated to protect the American people, which the Federal government absolutely is, what else are you supposed to call this?"
Crane is not the first Republican to accuse the Biden Administration of causing the border crisis on purpose, as Representatives Andy Biggs (R-AZ), Carlos Gimenez (R-FL), and Kat Cammack (R-FL) have previously suggested as such.
Moreover, Crane told Lewis how the border crisis is becoming bipartisan, if not "an 80/20 issue," as voters and politicians, regardless of demographics, are "starting to feel the pain of [the border crisis], and they want it stopped."
