The border crisis has become one of the most contentious issues facing Americans as the 2024 Presidential Election approaches. To this end, Americans For Prosperity (AFP), the conservative-libertarian activist group, has launched a new ad campaign demanding border security featuring former Yuma Section Patrol Chief Chris Clem.

The ambitious seven-figure ad campaign, which will air in Arizona, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Ohio, Florida, and Colorado, started with a brief video named "Biden's Border Crisis," in which Clem described how "in [his] 27 years as a Border Patrol agent, have never seen the border this bad."

Does Texas have a constitutional right to defy Supreme Court on protecting its border?

A graphic notes approximately over 2 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border every year, totaling over 8 million in the past four. On top of that, it is estimated approximately 2 million more were able to cross into the United States undetected by Border Patrol, making a total of 10 million crossings.

More egregiously, the Biden Administration has repeatedly claimed that "walls do not work," even when they had to authorize the partial construction of barriers in October because one area was so overwhelmed with migrants.

As a result, Clem implores the viewer to join him and Americans For Prosperity "in telling President Biden it is time to secure the border and secure America."

AFP-Arizona Director Stephen Shadegg said, "For literally decades, Arizonans have been sounding the alarm about the security risks posed by the line in the sand Biden calls a border. Unfortunately, no matter how loudly we raise our voices and ask Congress and President Biden to protect our border, no one in Washington is listening. So we're turning up the volume with these ads and encouraging more Arizonans to contact their lawmakers and demand meaningful security along the Arizona-Mexico border. There's too much at risk, and it's time for politicians to take it seriously."

At the end of March, Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake (R) spoke with Cactus Politics, telling us how as soon as she wins Senator Kyrsten Sinema's (I-AZ) seat in November, "we need to immediately fund and speed through construction of the border wall. The entirety of the southern border needs a border wall."

Moreover, she called for the repatriation of all 10 million border crossers en masse, saying, "Fund the border wall, stop people from coming across, and immediately start repatriating the people who have poured over during the Biden invasion, repatriating them back to their homeland in order to save our beautiful homeland, the United States."
