Four years after the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newton, Connecticut, the anti-gun lobby and its supporting elected officials have not forgetting the incident, and continue push for more gun control.
Back in 2012, Rep. Raul Grijalva (D-AZ) stood with many Democrats in supporting stricter gun control measures, even calling the comments Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) made about how he wished teachers at gSandy Hook should have been armed, "stupid" and "insensitive.
Fast forward to 2016, and while Grijalva has not echoed the call for stricter gun controls, his colleague in the House, Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) is, and believes that his colleagues have "nothing" about passing tighter gun control legislation.
4 years since the horrific shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, Congress has done nothing. We must #HonorWithAction to #EndGunViolence. pic.twitter.com/bA6DYIpRoB
