Hamadeh on UFC 250 Bout

While some in Washington were raising eyebrows at Sunday night's UFC event on the White House South Lawn, Congressman Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) had a very different takeaway, one rooted in state pride and what he described as... READ MORE

Senator Mark Kelly: Working families are getting squeezed from every direction. Gas prices are up, groceries cost more, health care premiums have skyrocketed, and rent is out of reach. Instead of fixing any of that, the President hosted a UFC fight on the White House lawn. His priorities are clear — and helping working families isn’t one of them.

Senator Ruben Gallego: Today DACA turns 14 years old. To every Dreamer who has built a life here, who went to school here, who has worked and served here: you are Americans in every way that truly matters. This country belongs to you.

Representative Andy Biggs: Cindy and I are grateful this officer avoided more severe injuries in the line of duty. We are thankful - every day - for the men and women who put their lives on the line to serve our communities and defend our freedoms.

Representative Paul Gosar: For too long, ranchers in AZ have been buried under red tape and lawsuits from liberal activist groups. Thank you @SecRollins and @POTUS for restoring common-sense grazing policies that support rural communities, strengthen food security and keep working lands working!

Representative Eli Crane: Rural Arizona matters. Thanks to everyone that is helping expose what is going on.

Representative Juan Ciscomani: Laura and I are praying for the airmen involved in today’s tragic crash at Edwards Air Force Base and for their families and loved ones as they await answers. We are keeping all those affected in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Representative David Schweikert: Minnesota’s SNAP fraud was sitting right in the data: the same Social Security number used over and over, no Social Security number at all, and more signups at one location than people living nearby. The checks still went out anyway. Absolutely outrageous.

Representative Abe Hamadeh: Look, we shouldn’t be shocked by the historically illiterate snark from the left. But let’s set the record straight. The whole concept of “The Soft American” wasn’t our invention — it came straight from one of their icons: John F. Kennedy. On December 26, 1960, President-elect JFK wrote an article in Sports Illustrated titled “The Soft American.” He warned that America’s growing physical weakness and lack of fitness was a serious threat to our national security. Sound familiar? It’s the direct predecessor to his nephew RFK Jr.’s Make America Healthy Again agenda. The left loves to rewrite history until it doesn’t fit their narrative. Consider this your history lesson, folks.

Representative Greg Stanton: I spoke with Margoth last week. Instead of her 14-year-old son Dilan spending summer break with his classmates, she tells me he has been crying most days in detention. Margoth & Dilan have now spent 20 days ICE custody. This Tempe family should come home today.

Representative Yassamin Ansari: While we await the final details of the agreement, an end to the war is a positive step. But it comes after a conflict that inflicted enormous costs and leaves both the United States and the Iranian people worse off. Tremendous loss of life, international instability, and skyrocketing gas prices. This never should have happened in the first place. Congress must have extensive review of any final agreement signed with the Islamic Republic.

Representative Adelita Grijalva: A Trump crypto company sponsored the UFC White House event and is paying fighters in its own cryptocurrency. The corruption isn't hidden. It's happening in plain sight.
