Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) is accusing the Biden Administration of spying on him through the "Quiet Skies" program.

A recent hearing by the Senate Homeland Security Committee under Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) found evidence that the Biden Administration weaponized the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) against American citizens who disagreed politically with them by placing them on watchlists and denying airplane boardings.

Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, was among the most notable targets.

Regarding his own targeting by the Quiet Skies initiative, Rep. Hamadeh said he knew about it "for a few months, but I did not really think much of it," until Sen. Paul informed him.

"We looked at it, and one of the times that I was flagged was December of 2022," Rep. Hamadeh recalled. "And what is interesting about that is that that was during the time period that I was challenging the result of my election in 2022 when I was running for Attorney General [of Arizona]."

"I was in the US Army Reserve as an intelligence officer," he continued. "So I had my Top Secret clearance, and I am not sure if these agencies were talking to each other or discussing with each other, but something was off about it."

"It goes to show you what we were fighting when Biden was in charge," he expressed. "I think we have to make sure that it never happens again."

The revelation of surveillance is not surprising to Hamadeh, however, as he recalled that, "at the time, if you remember, banks were shutting down accounts if they promoted conservative viewpoints, if they were selling ammo or guns, and the banks were being pressured by the Biden Administration." "You had social media companies censoring political voices that they did not agree with."

"It goes to show you the depths that the federal government has, how much sway they have, not just within the bureaucracy but also with private organizations and private actors as well," he warned.
