New Polling Average Suggests Trump Wins 2024 Election

Scott Rasmussen, the veteran pollster, is under the impression that President Donald Trump (R) could win the 2024 presidential election. In the latest polling average from RealClearPolitics, President Trump has a lead over Vice President Kamala Harris (D) in 7 battleground states. Despite recent controversy, and amidst star studded appearances for Vice President Harris, polling indicates that President Trump could come out on top in the 2024 election.

Over the weekend, President Trump held a rally in Madison Square Garden. The rally, drawing in thousands of supporters, was not without its controversy. However, Republicans argue that the rally was a success, commenting that the showing proves the momentum the Trump campaign has heading into November 5^th.

Florida Rep. Maria Elvira Salazar (R), who condemned comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s appearance, celebrated the rally during an interview on Fox business.

Noting that “the momentum is palpable,” Rep. Salazar commented that Hispanics and the American electorate have realized that the country needs a change in leadership.

“Only Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson – people of that stature – have been able to fill that stadium to the brim like President Trump,” she expressed. This “momentum” that Rep. Salazar speaks of could push the Trump campaign over the finish line on Tuesday.

According to the latest data from RealClearPolitics, President Trump holds a lead over Vice President Harris in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Rasmussen believes that President Trump has the advantage in winning the election. Though issues like the southern border, the economy, and inflation have been shared as important factors in the election, the veteran pollster argues that there’s one indicator driving the election.

“People’s perception of whether their personal finances are improving is the single most important indicator of how they will vote,” he explained.

However, he assessed that the 2024 election will leave some with doubt if there’s no landslide. The country is divided, 60% of Democrats argue that Hilary Clinton won the 2016 election, and 65% of Republicans argue that President Trump won the 2020 election.

In short, “the safest prediction you can make is that the losing team this year, whichever side it is, will believe that the other team stole the election,” he posited. “There’s only one thing that’s going to restore trust in our electoral system, and that’s a landslide.”
