Libertarian-conservative activist group Americans for Prosperity's (AFP) Bidenomics campaign headed by the Arizona chapter, their continued effort to educate Arizonans on the root causes of inflation and the lawmakers contributing, will have a new event this Monday. At the AMC Ahwatukee 24 theater in Phoenix, families can beat the heat, and inflation, with a free screening of the film IF.
"On Monday, June 17 Americans for Prosperity-Arizona (AFP-AZ) will host a free Bidenomics: Flickin’ Inflation matinee for families in Phoenix. The event is part of Americans for Prosperity’s nationwide Bidenomics campaign to connect Americans with the root causes of inflation and hold lawmakers accountable for rubber stamping President Biden’s inflationary agenda," read AFP's announcement.
The new event comes three weeks after Americans for Prosperity's Arizona chapter hosted an event called "Fuel Up for Freedom," offering a special discount on gas at $2.38 a gallon, the price when President Joe Biden took office in 2021 and has climbed since.
Does Texas have a constitutional right to defy Supreme Court on protecting its border?
"What a lot of people might not remember is that the day that Joe Biden took office, the price of gas was substantially less. So what we are going to do today is just remind people of what it was like back then by dropping the price all the way down to $2.38," AFP-AZ Grassroots Director David Morris explained in a brief video.
Additionally, Morris explained how and why inflation works, pointing at out-of-control government spending and the energy policies of the Biden Administration within the context of rising gas prices.
The Monday event will be held at 1pm, and you can register here.
