Lake Campaign Releases First TV Ad

With election season in full swing, Republicans nationwide are more energized than ever. Kari Lake, in her bid for Senate representing Arizona as a Republican, has released her first TV ad as part of her campaign.

The 30-second spot focuses on the border crisis and resulting crime, in addition to homelessness and drug deaths.

"10,000 illegals pour into the US every single day," says Lake in the ad's voiceover, "Crime, drug deaths, homelessness, it is hurting every community."

She then says, "Under President Trump, we had a secure border. But Joe Biden and his enablers [Senator] Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) and [Representative] Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) destroyed that security."

Hence, Lake continues, "When we take back the US Senate, we can fix it," attributing this to her mission "to make Arizona safe, affordable, and great again," referencing the slogan of Donald Trump.

The new ad comes in the wake of recent polling in the Grand Canyon State evening the odds for Lake against Rep. Gallego and Sen. Sinema. According to Public Policy Polling, when Lake, Gallego, and Sinema are tallied together, Lake is just one point (35%) behind Gallego in favorability and has more than double the support for Sinema (17%).

Between Lake and Gallego only, Lake narrowly beats him by a single point (46%).

The Lake campaign considers this a good sign, as former President Donald Trump retains a strong lead in Arizona over President Biden by nearly five points as of December, suggesting Lake can gain polling momentum in the future.

The one-time gubernatorial candidate has been fiercely critical of the Arizona Congressman, with Lake accusing Gallego of supporting Hamas in November due to his supposed voting against sanctioning Hamas and funding for Israel's Iron Dome defense system.

Her accusation was a response to Gallego's condemnation of statements on X (formerly Twitter) by Trump, where he referred to Hamas and Hezbollah as "very smart" for taking advantage of the Biden Administration's weakness abroad.

Lake pointed out the irony of Gallego's remark, saying, "This bizarre attack is especially funny coming from [Ruben Gallego] who: Called for the U.S. government to send aid to Hamas terrorists. Joined Rashida Tlaib & Ilhan Omar in downplaying Hamas terrorist activities."
