Abe Hamadeh Renews Call for Senate to Pass SAVE America Act

Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) is once again demanding Senate Republicans pass the SAVE America Act as Democrats regroup in the face of the Supreme Court of Virginia declaring a new congressional district map for the Old Dominion State.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) recently placed Eric Holder, the former Attorney General of Barack Obama, and attorney Marc Elias on a new "Election Integrity Task Force" to oversee New York's congressional redistricting and that of Colorado, Illinois, and Maryland in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling on Section 2 of the 1965 Civil Rights Act in Louisiana v. Callais.

"After their humiliating Virginia redistricting debacle, the radical left has declared all-out war on election integrity," Rep. Hamadeh shared in a recent social media post. "Chuck Schumer has sicced Eric Holder and Marc Elias on election laws nationwide."

As a result, Rep. Hamadeh declared, "Now more than ever, we need the SAVE America Act — documentary proof of citizenship, strict voter ID, and real fraud protections. Time to act, @SenateGOP. Pass it now and secure America's elections."

This marks the third call from the Arizona congressman to the Senate demanding they pass the SAVE America Act, previously dismissing a floor vote brought up by Senate Majority John Thune (R-SD) in March by saying, "Americans don’t need another demonstration that Democrats don’t care about election integrity. We KNOW that already. They need the security measures in the SAVE America Act."

More recently, Hamadeh suggested that an analysis of the bill's effects from the Washington Post, which predicted the swing states of New Mexico and Nevada would turn red with the implementation of the bill's provisions, was a tacit admission that voter fraud exists and affects elections.

"This is an outright admission from the Washington Post that voter fraud exists & tangibly changes the direction of the country," Hamadeh posted. "The American people have made it clear: they support the Save America Act."
