Hoffman Publicizes 2022 Democrat Newsletter Thanking Robson for Fundraising Efforts

State Senator Jake Hoffman (R-15) publicized a 2022 press release from the Arizona Democratic Party thanking Karrin Taylor Robson for her fundraising efforts in a Wednesday post to X (formerly Twitter).

"AZ Democrats sent out a press release saying 'THANK YOU' to a REPUBLICAN candidate for governor?? This is NOT a joke," Sen. Hoffman posted Wednesday evening.

The Arizona Democratic Party posted the commemoration in July 2022, when Robson previously ran against Kari Lake in the 2022 gubernatorial primary, which says they wished to thank Robson for "her longtime financial support to help elect Democratic candidates up and down the ballot."

A quote from spokeswoman Josselyn Berry is included in the statement that suggests the "thank you" is partially sarcastic, as Berry said, "While Robson uses her millions to buy TV ads and hide her true self, voters just aren't buying what she's selling. And it's no surprise – this is precisely the kind of political hypocrisy that aggravates people."

"As the Republican primary for governor continues to stir toxic infighting, the Arizona Democratic Party will always be grateful for Robson's longtime support in helping elect Democrats up and down the ballot, including this November," Berry added.

Robson is running for Governor of Arizona as a Republican again with President Donald Trump's endorsement, set to face Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ), who is also endorsed by Trump, in the upcoming primary next August.

State Sen. Hoffman previously called out Robson's fundraising and lobbying past in March, again on X, urging the President to retract his endorsement of Robson because of it.

"ATTENTION: @realDonaldTrump "Karrin Taylor Robson has been a registered lobbyist for clients including... in 2018, for ultra-liberal advocacy group Chicanos Por La Causa Action" (CPLCA) source: Arizona Globe," Hoffman posted.

"Arizona Republicans and Trump supporters demand far better than a Karrin as our nominee," the State Senator concluded.
