Biggs, Crane Condemn Larry Pfeiffer's Statement on Hunter Biden Laptop

Representatives Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and Eli Crane (R-AZ) reacted on X (formerly Twitter) to former CIA Chief of Staff Larry Pfeiffer's recent remarks, insisting Russia was involved in the Hunter Biden laptop scandal.

Pfeiffer was one of 51 intelligence officials who signed a statement saying Hunter Biden's laptop, which supposedly held incriminating information about his business dealings with China and Ukraine, was "Russian disinformation" when it was first discovered in October 2020 and heavily censored by the media.

Despite being confirmed as real, Pfeiffer recently insisted on the podcast SpyTalk that there was still an element of "truth" to the "Russian disinformation" narrative.

"We never said the laptop was fake, in fact, I think we said the laptop and the emails may very well be real," said Pfeiffer, adding, "In fact, the fact that they are and were real smacks even more of a Russian information operation, because most Russian information operations, most good information operations, have some base in truth."

Just The News noted that SpyTalk host Michael Isikoff "seemed taken aback" by the statement. Pfeiffer continued, "Honestly, to this day, and granted you'd think I'd follow this assiduously and moment by moment, but I don't, but several of us who signed the letter haven't seen anything to completely refute the idea that the Russians played some role in that material."

The Just The News article was shared by journalist John Solomon, who tweeted, "Hunter Biden laptop letter signer doubles down on claim that Russia may have been involved."

Rep. Crane responded, "Fully committed to the lie. What a joke. And people wonder why so many Americans have lost trust in the intelligence community."

Similarly, Rep. Biggs said, "Truth has no meaning to the radical Left. The Democrats' entire platform is built on lies."

The two Arizona Congressmen had previously called for accountability in the wake of documents from the 2023 Durham Report being declassified, which suggested that the Obama White House, the 2016 Presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton, and George Soros's Open Society Foundations colluded to propagate the "Russian collusion" hoax, falsely claiming President Donald Trump stole the 2016 Election with help from Russia.
