Hamadeh Demands Investigation into Elections Service Provider

Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) wrote to Attorney General Pam Bondi demanding an investigation into Runbeck Election Services for potential breaches of protocol.

As Rep. Hamadeh described, Runbeck supposedly mixed blank printed ballots with returned voted mail ballots being prepped for tabulation from several western states.

"This alarming situation raises serious questions about the security and integrity of the election process in Maricopa County and potentially beyond," Rep. Hamadeh said in the letter, adding, "The comingling of blank ballots with live ballots poses a significant risk to the accuracy and fairness of election results. It is crucial that we have confidence in the integrity of our elections, and any potential mishandling of ballots must be investigated to ensure that the will of the voters is accurately reflected."

The Arizona Congressman urged for several key areas of investigation to be answered, including how the blank ballots got mixed in, Runbeck's security measures against incidents such as these, and how it may have skewed election results in Maricopa County and other states.

Hamadeh's call for an investigation comes on the heels of FBI Director Kash Patel recently suggesting that China attempted to interfere in the 2024 Election in favor of Joe Biden.

"We have known for years that our election processes in Arizona are flawed and ripe with opportunities for nefarious forces. There appears to be a clear pattern and practice of security breakdowns, system failures, and outright manipulation that must be investigated and remedied," Hamadeh continued. "Now is the time for our Department of Justice to investigate credible allegations and offer sound recommendations to ensure that the integrity of our elections is restored in full."

Maricopa County Recorder Justin Heap has recently filed a lawsuit against the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, claiming they have overstepped their electoral responsibilities and impeded his own.

"Today's lawsuit seeks simply to reclaim the legal authority afforded to the County Recorder under Arizona law and ensure that my office is not further deprived of the resources necessary to perform those duties to the fullest extent possible," said Heap in a post to X (formerly Twitter).
