Lake Savages Biden, Harris for Skipping Anniversary of Afghanistan Withdrawal Disaster

This week marks the third anniversary of the tragic Afghanistan withdrawal that cost 13 American soldiers' lives at Abbey Gate. Yet, the Biden Administration did not visit their graves at Arlington National Cemetery. Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake (R) savaged the lack of acknowledgment in a recent appearance on Newsmax's Chris Salcedo Show, blaming President Biden for their deaths and saying voters would reject Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election.

Lake posted the clip to X (formerly Twitter), saying, "Yesterday was the third anniversary of the tragic withdrawal from Afghanistan, where we lost 13 brave service members. Biden-Harris didn't show up to the memorial. It makes my blood boil thinking of their recklessness & disastrous foreign policy that caused the deaths of these young men & women. Biden doesn't even dare to say their names. Thankfully, President Trump was at Arlington National Cemetery to honor them."

In the clip, Lake referred to Trump, who attended the memorial service, as "a true leader" and chastised Biden and Harris for not being there.

"I guess I understand why Joe Biden is not there. He caused their deaths. His recklessness [and] his disastrous foreign policy caused the deaths of these young men and women, these heroic young men and women that you are seeing on the screen, and he did not even have the courage to say their names. I remember him looking at his watch as caskets were rolling by him. It is just despicable," Lake strongly condemned.

Moreover, the Arizona Senate candidate suggested, "This is why people are going to reject Kamala Harris. They are going to reject her at the ballot box, and this is why the fake news media, truly the enemy of the people, are out there trying to roll out an extreme makeover on the most unpopular person to ever enter politics."

Earlier in August, Lake had made the same comments about friendly media attempting to rewrite Harris's history and improve her image to Fox News Digital, which she expounded upon during her recent Newsmax appearance.

"Going into this election, people are really going to have to narrow down where they are getting information and keep all of the fake news from their sights because we have got to focus on the next two and a half months to get out there [and] get people registered to vote because the big news media is working overtime to try to help Kamala Harris," Lake concluded.
