The Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has been in full swing, and Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake (R) appeared to give an address energizing the crowd. She took shots at the "fake news" media and her Democratic opponent, Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), and laid out the Republican vision for America should former President Donald Trump win reelection in November.

"Frankly, you guys up there in the fake news have worn out your welcome," Lake said mockingly, "you have worn it out, guys. You have spent the last eight years lying about President Donald Trump and his amazing patriotic supporters. Actually, they lie about everything. They have lied about Joe Biden's health, the economy, the laptop [of Hunter Biden], the border, I could go on and on. But the really good news is that every day, more and more people are turning off the fake news," a remark which earned applause.

Lake then took a dig at Rep. Gallego, referring to him as President Biden's "favorite Congressman," adding, "They are full of bad ideas." She then called the Arizona Congressman out for voting against the SAVE Act last week, which her campaign previously torched him for.

"Gallego and the Democrats have handed over control of my state, Arizona's border, to the drug cartels," Lake continued, describing the toll of the fentanyl crisis in the Grand Canyon State and speaking with parents who lost their children to the notoriously deadly drug.

"But the solutions, guys, they are really simple. First of all, stop the Biden invasion and build the wall," she added, prompting chants of "build that wall."

Finally, Lake made the analogy that "the most dangerous place on Earth is between a mama bear and her baby cubs. And that is exactly where the radical left has found themselves, and it is not going to go well for them because, guess what? They have awoken the sleeping giant. Tens of millions of moms and dads from Sea to Shining Sea; they are going to show up on November 5th, and they are going to be hearing from us on November 5th."
