For years, Rep. Frederica Wilson (D) has stood on the congressional sidelines and let more politically vocal colleagues opine on issues regarding most legislative debates.
Wilson seems to choose her spots, seemingly focusing on race issues, and most recently, championing the effort to rescue the kidnapped school girls by the Islamic terror group Boko Haram in northern Nigeria.
But the cowboy hat-wearing congresswoman from Miami-Dade County, Florida is better known for playing the ominous race card whenever any kind of potential race-related issue, altercation, or crime is committed against a black person by someone other than black.
Here is Rep. Wilson at a Treyvon Martin memorial rally in Miami. It’s all about being “black.”
Now Wilson is taking President Trump over a statement she said he made the widow of recently fallen US Special Forces operator,Sgt. La David T. Johnson, who was one of the three soldiers killed during an ambush in Niger.
Wilson said that President Trump called the family while she was in the car heading to recover Johnson’s remains, and while the call was on speakerphone, she heard the president tell the widow, “he knew what he signed up for . but when it happens it hurts anyway.”
Wilson took issue with the president’s presumed insensitive statement, but what else did Trump say?
Did the president offer any other condolences or sympathies to the family, or did he just utter those words that may have been taken out of context to begin with?
The fact is that even if President Trump did make that point, it is true. Most likely, Sgt. Johnson were alive to day,he would probably agree with what Trump said.
But what could be seen as an even more insensitive statement about Sgt. Johnson’s death is the one Rep. Wilson made herself in response to the president denouncing her original remarks.
Wilson referred to Sgt. Johnson’s body as being “so messed up” from the injuries sustained, that “he can't even have an open-coffin funeral.”

Here was the twitter exchanged between President Trump and Rep.Frederica Wilson. Trump in true form called Wilson a liar, and said he "proof" to back up his side of the story.
Wilson later put out this statement:
And then there is this. Rep. Wilson has voted against bills that "continue funding for veteran benefits."
Despite Wilson's claim to be “committed to honoring our service members, not only with words but with deeds,” she has voted against most bills ensuring continued funding for veteran benefits, including payments to widows of fallen soldiers, the vote-tracking site shows.
She has also opposed measures designed to improve the Department of Veterans Affairs.
In March 2013, Wilson opposed the “Consolidated and Further Continuing Appropriations Act,” which prevented a government shutdown and provided funds for the U.S. military and the VA.-Fox News
