Sanders Returning to Arizona in Final Days of Campaign

Independent Socialist Vermont Senator and former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will once again come to Arizona to stump for votes in Hillary Clinton's name. The past few weeks have seen an unprecendented flood of bog-name democrats swing throught the historically Republican state in an effort to "turn AZ blue".

The clinton campaign posted on their website:

RSVP now to join Senator Bernie Sanders and other Hillary supporters at an Arizona Democratic Party GOTV Rally in Phoenix.

Just days before Election Day, Bernie will visit Arizona to discuss Hillary Clinton's plans to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Join him on Sunday, November 6th -- and bring a friend (or three)!

The campaign has not yet released official logistical details about Bernie's apperance, though AZ Central's Dan Nowicki seems to have the inside scoop.

This will mark the second visit for the Senator in three weeks and the 6th visit to Arizona by a big name democrat. Last week Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine stomped across the state, and the week prior saw Michelle Obama, Chelsea Clinton and a visit to Flagstaff by Bernie Sanders.

It is unclear whether the Trump campaign will dispatch anyone else to Arizona, as they continue to focus their travels between Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

Democrats have invested millions in their effort to turn Arizona blue this cycle, and that strategy banks on the Hispanic vote and the youth vote actually turning out. The numbers we are seeing from early voting point to the strategy working thus far making Arizona into a big question mark for Tuesday night.
