Today, it was announced that ISIS has claimed responsibility for the car and knife attack that took place yesterday at the Ohio State University by 18 year old Abdul Razak Ali Artan. Artan hit a crowd of people with a car and proceeded to attack several people with a butcher's knife soon after. It left 11 people injured and the suspect dead.

AMAQ, the news agency of the Islamic state, claimed that the attacker at the University was "a soldier of the Islamic State" as reported by the Hill.

Authorities reportedly uncovered the suspect's Facebook page where he made a "declaration" by saying "If you want us Muslims to stop carrying lone wolf attacks, then make peace."

Does Texas have a constitutional right to defy Supreme Court on protecting its border?

It is believed that Artan left Pakistan and moved to Somalia in 2007 with his family. In 2014, he moved to the United States as a refugee and was given legal permanent residency.
