Andy Biggs Officially Endorses Warren Petersen for Arizona Attorney General

Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ) has officially endorsed State Senate President Warren Petersen (R-14) for Arizona Attorney General in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections in a new ad released on social media.

The Ad

In a 30-second advertisement, Rep. Biggs, who is running for Governor, says he is "ready to turn Arizona around." However, he urges Arizonans to vote for Peterson, saying, "I cannot do it without a strong conservative candidate for Attorney General to defeat liberal Kris Mayes."

Rep. Biggs lauded State Sen. Petersen as "the only conservative choice for AG," highlighting how he "led the fight to keep boys out of girls' sports, secure our elections, and defend the border. He will keep us safe as Attorney General."

Petersen's Response

"Honored to have the endorsement of @andybiggs4az. As a seasoned former prosecutor, Andy Biggs knows exactly what it takes to be a great Attorney General and get the job done for Arizona," State Sen. Petersen responded in a social media post. "Together, as your next Governor and Attorney General, we're going to make a strong team: restore the rule of law, secure our elections, root out all fraud, protect our Constitution, make Arizona safer than ever, safeguard your individual rights, and fight for Arizonans every single day."

Petersen concluded, "Join Rep. Andy Biggs, conservative Attorneys General across the country, and several conservative Arizona county prosecutors in supporting me. Vote for Warren Petersen for Arizona Attorney General on July 21."

Recent Endorsements

Biggs's official endorsement of Petersen comes on the heels of Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) endorsing Marlene Galán-Woods in Arizona's 1st Congressional District to replace the outgoing Representative David Schweikert (R-AZ).

"Marlene Galán-Woods will be a relentless fighter for Arizona families," Sen. Kelly commented. "Whether it's working across the aisle to bring down costs or protecting our fundamental rights, I know Marlene will be a powerful voice for Arizona's First District in Washington. She is exactly the kind of common-sense leader we need more of, and I'm proud to support her in this race."
