Commissioner David Weingot announced that the Town of Surfside has been selected to host FIFA VIP guests and international dignitaries throughout the tournament, further solidifying the town’s reputation as a premier global destination. Commissioner Weingot also announced that Surfside will host a community beach watch party for the FIFA World Cup Final on Sunday, July 19, 2026. The event will provide residents, families, and visitors with an opportunity to come together and celebrate the conclusion of one of the world’s most significant sporting events. Additional details regarding the watch party will be released in the coming months.
