Abe Hamadeh Says Washington Post Analysis of SAVE America Act is Tacit Admission of Voter Fraud

Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) is claiming that a Washington Post analysis of the SAVE America Act is a tacit admission of voter fraud by Democrats in a recent social media post, demanding the bill's passage.

Conservative social media account Election Wizard shared an editorial from the Washington Post suggesting that the SAVE America Act could turn the swing states of Nevada and New Mexico red, even if its effects would be minimal in other states.

"WaPo Bombshell: The Save America Act (proof of citizenship + voter ID) could flip key states red. Nevada: R+1 → R+6.3 (much safer) New Mexico: D+4 → R+3.3 (complete flip!) Pass the act NOW!!" Election Wizard posted.

In response, Rep. Hamadeh wrote, "This is an outright admission from the Washington Post that voter fraud exists & tangibly changes the direction of the country."

"The American people have made it clear: they support the Save America Act," Rep. Hamadeh continued. "[President Donald Trump] supports it. [House Republicans] supports it. What are [Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD)] & [Senate Republicans] waiting for?"

In March, Sen. Thune posted on social media, "I will bring the SAVE America Act to the floor. Senate Democrats will be forced to defend their outrageous positions on these issues and explain to the American people why common sense and the Democrat Party have parted ways."

However, Hamadeh was unconvinced, replying, "Americans don’t need another demonstration that Democrats don’t care about election integrity. We KNOW that already. They need the security measures in the SAVE America Act."
At the end of April, Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) suggested in comments to reporters that Sen. Thune does not intend to pass the SAVE America Act.
"I confronted Thune on the floor yesterday, when the King spoke, about the SAVE America [Act], and [Thune] is not going to do the SAVE America [Act]," the Florida congresswoman said, referring to the recent visit and address of King Charles III to Congress.
