NRCC Promotes Jay Feely as Part of MAGA Majority Effort

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) is hoping to maintain control of Congress through its MAGA Majority effort, and former NFL kicker Jay Feely is on their radar in Arizona's First Congressional District.

Complete with a spiffy new launch video, the NRCC declares its drive toward "building powerful campaigns to win the toughest races in the country and hand Democrats the pink slip."

In addition to Feely, promising candidates backed by President Donald Trump include Eric Flores and Tano Tijerina in Texas, Maine's former Governor Paul LePage, Kevin Lincoln in California, Iowa's Joe Mitchell, Peter Oberacker and Mike LiPetri in New York, and North Carolina's Laurie Buckhout.

"From small town diners, to union halls, to border communities, we are expanding this movement with candidates who look like America and who will fight for America," the video says.

After all, over a dozen Democrats hold seats that President Donald Trump won in 2024, and Arizona's First District is no exception, with Trump winning the area by over 3 points, and thus, "the battlefield is already favorable for Republicans. The MAGA Majority is designed to capitalize on that opportunity."

Notably, Arizona Districts 1 and 6 have steadily gained more registered Republicans than Democrats.

So is Jay Feely the right man for the job to replace Representative David Schweikert (R-AZ) as the latter runs for governor of the Grand Canyon State?

As NRCC spokesman Ben Petersen says, "Jay Feely has what it takes to go the distance and deliver a powerful election victory in November."

"As a conservative who will keep taxes low, grow the economy instead of government spending, and protect our Arizona way of life, Jay represents everything the socialist Left fears," Petersen added.

Moreover, he is further described as "A proud conservative and staunch supporter of President Donald Trump, Feely is running in Congress in Arizona to fight for border security, protect our freedoms, and put America First. He’s tough, tested, and ready to kick Washington into shape."
