Crane on Minnesota Fraud Scandal

Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ) commented on the developing story of welfare fraud in Minnesota, allegedly allowed by its Governor, Tim Walz, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), calling it "out of control."

As the New York Post explains, the fraud case centers on a nonprofit organization called Feeding Our Future, which fraudulently billed Minnesota approximately $1 billion over five years to supposedly feed needy children.

However, the money was instead spent elsewhere, on foreign real estate projects, luxury cars, and more, with many of the perpetrators of the scheme being Somali migrants.
