Abe Hamadeh Claims Mark Kelly's Military Orders Video is Designed to Intimidate Military

Representative Abe Hamadeh (R-AZ) has alleged that the supposed rationale for Senator Mark Kelly's (D-AZ) appearance in the controversial "Seditious Six" video in a post on X (formerly Twitter), arguing that it is for "paralyzing these men and women with the threat of future punishment."

As we have covered, Sen. Kelly appeared in a video posted by Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) in mid-November, urging members of the military to disobey "illegal" orders from the Trump Administration. President Donald Trump accused the Senators of sedition and treason.

Sen. Kelly, a former Navy officer, is under investigation by the Pentagon and the FBI for his role, with rumors that he will be reinstated to active duty to face a court-martial.

Kelly has remained resolute in the face of it, initially saying, "Words have consequences, especially when they come from the President of the United States. What Trump said this morning—that my colleagues and I should be put to death—is dangerous."

More recently, he suggested that the affair is an effort to intimidate and silence him in an appearance on the Rachel Maddow Show, adding, "How does reciting the UCMJ—which is the Uniform Code of Justice—we basically repeated the Uniform Code of Military Justice, and they're saying that's in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice. It's absurd. This is about the media cycle, and it's about intimidation."

However, Sen. Slotkin recently failed to provide evidence of the Trump Administration issuing illegal orders to the military.

According to Rep. Hamadeh in his X post, "The reason Democrats refuse to name what they consider to be illegal orders by President Trump is that they want our military and intelligence community to question EVERY order they receive from this administration."

"The ambiguity 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕, [emphasis his]," Rep. Hamadeh continued, adding, "They want to make our active-duty personnel hesitate to execute the agenda voted for by the American people, paralyzing these men and women with the threat of future punishment."
