Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ) questioned why Democrats "lie so much" in an X post as the new continuing resolution (CR) heads to the House of Representatives to end the government shutdown.
As Cactus Politics has previously reported, the new continuing resolution that passed with Senate Democrats' support does not extend the Affordable Care Act (ACA) subsidies that have been at the heart of the shutdown, and includes three full-year funding bills, SNAP benefits provided through next September, and the government operating under a short-term mandate through the end of January.

Senator Mark Kelly: This Veterans Day, I’m grateful to all of the brave Americans who’ve stepped up to defend our country, and their families who’ve given so much alongside them. To the veterans and military families in Arizona and across the country: Thank you for your service and your sacrifice.
Senator Ruben Gallego: I dropped off Virginia Giuffre’s memoir for Speaker Johnson. If he actually reads it, maybe he’ll finally release the Epstein Files and stop covering for the powerful men who abused her. Justice for Virginia and the hundreds of other victims is long overdue.
Representative Andy Biggs: This Veterans Day, we must recommit to honoring our nation’s heroes. I’ve introduced three bills for our veterans that ease financial burdens, expand healthcare freedom, and hold the VA accountable. More from @DailySignal
Representative Paul Gosar: To all our veterans - thank you for your service, your strength, and your enduring commitment to our country. May we never take for granted the peace and liberty you have secured for us all.
Representative Eli Crane: Today, I had the privilege of spending Veterans Day with the heroes of VFW Post 7400 in Cottonwood. It's an honor to be surrounded by patriots who answered the call to defend America.
Representative Juan Ciscomani: During Salpointe’s assembly, the Carlos Valencia ’06 Memorial Award and the John Glinski ’68 Award were given to Tony Jin and Elijah Valencia. I was proud to join and recognize their faith, perseverance, compassion, and strength! Inspirations for our community.
Representative Abe Hamadeh: Congressman Hamadeh was thrilled to celebrate Veterans Day throughout the district. He started the day at the Veterans Memorial at Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria, where he thanked his fellow veterans for their selfless service. He next headed to join veterans and Glendale @MayorWeiers at the Sandy Coor VFW post in Glendale. Then he joined veterans and their supporters like Glendale City Councilman Ray Malnar at the Thunderbird Senior Living Center in Glendale, where he presented veterans with Congressional Recognition certificates and challenge coins. AZ-08 is filled to the brim with men and women who served this country, and the Congressman is thrilled to represent them.
Representative Greg Stanton: Arizona’s veterans embody the best of our country. From Luke Air Force Base to the Navajo Code Talkers, Arizonans have always answered the call to serve. This Veterans Day, we thank the thousands of Arizonans whose courage and honor have kept America safe and free.
Representative Yassamin Ansari: On #VeteransDay, I honor our veterans and the families who stood beside them. In Congress, I’m fighting to expand VA care, housing, and mental health support, and to stop the deportation of veterans carried out by Trump. We take care of those who defended us.
