Representatives Eli Crane (R-AZ) and Andy Biggs (R-AZ) demanded accountability and justice on X (formerly Twitter) in reactions to the newest revelations from the declassified documents surrounding the Russian collusion hoax.
On Thursday, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Attorney General Pam Bondi coordinated the release of the annex to Special Counsel John Durham's report on the allegations that President Donald Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 Election.
The newly-declassified documents suggested that the false narrative was partly influenced by philanthropist George Soros's Open Society Foundations.
As posted by Just the News journalist John Solomon, "This is the smoking gun evidence inside Durham annex."
"If it is authenticated by further investigation, it means liberal mega donor George Soros' team knew the whole Clinton plan for Russiagate hoax four days before the FBI opened up the probe. And so did Obama, Brennan, and Comey," Solomon added.
In a reply tweet, Rep. Crane called the news "a historic scandal," and suggested "it'll likely be ignored by the very mainstream media figures that perpetuated the hoax in the first place."
Similarly, Rep. Biggs said, "It was planned from the start."
"Americans were manipulated by the Left and the media for years," Rep. Biggs continued. "Those of us who called out the stench from the start were painted as conspiracy theorists. There must be severe consequences for everyone who conspired against the American people."
Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) made a statement similar to his Arizona counterparts in a recent appearance on Fox News, saying, "What the Democrats are trying to do with the media is trying to sweep this under the rug, hiding behind the Senate intelligence report from 2020, saying, 'Oh, we already uncovered that, nothing to see here.'"
"We know that senior intelligence officials in the Obama Administration engaged in an intelligence scheme and intelligence fraud to undermine the incoming President of the United States at the time, which was Donald Trump," Rep. Donalds concluded.
