Iran-Israel Ceasefire Teeters After Iran Allegedly Violates Agreement

The recent ceasefire agreement reached by Iran and Israel and brokered by President Donald Trump has collapsed after Iran reportedly violated the terms by firing missiles at Israeli residential areas.

In the early hours of Tuesday, June 24, missile fire from Iran struck a civilian building in Be’er Sheva, Israel, violating a ceasefire deal that prohibited any further military actions.

According to the latest reports, four Israeli civilians were killed by Iran’s attack and dozens more were injured.

Israeli Defense Force (IDF) Officials condemned the attack and vowed to respond, and did.

"In light of the severe violation of the ceasefire carried out by the Iranian regime, we will respond with force," said IDF Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir.

Conversely, President Trump urged Israel to stand down, claiming that any further hostile action towards Iran would be amajor violationof the ceasefire agreement.

“Israel, said Trump,Do not drop those bombs. If you do it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!”

The Israel-Iran conflict, which began when Iran’s Islamist Fundamentalist regime took control of the country, recently flared due to reports warning Iran may have been precipitously close to possessing nuclear weapons.

While Iran claims its nuclear programs were designed for civilian purposes, the US and allies counter-argued that credible evidence demonstrates the programs had a bellicose intent.

Iran Watch, an organization devoted to exposing Iran’s weapons development programs, recently reported Iran was dangerously close to obtaining nuclear weapons.

Iran Watch claimed Iran hasaccomplished over 90% of the work needed to bring natural uranium to weapon-grade.”

Similarly, Israel claimed Iranis nearing a point of no returnin its quest to obtain nuclear weapons.

Iranian leaders have previously shamelessly voiced their intentions ofdestroyingand bringingdeathto Israel, the US, and their allies.
