Turning Point to Host Biggs for Governor Rally

Turning Point USA will host a rally in support of Representative Andy Biggs's (R-AZ) 2026 gubernatorial campaign this Saturday in Phoenix.

The announcement was posted by Turning Point leader Charlie Kirk to X (formerly Twitter), saying, "Join us tomorrow for the first day of the future of Arizona. Andy Biggs for Governor. It's going to be historic."

Featured speakers, in addition to Rep. Biggs, include Representatives Eli Crane (R-AZ), Paul Gosar (R-AZ), Byron Donalds (R-FL), Burgess Owens (R-UT), and Lauren Boebert (R-CO).

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), Sheriff Mark Lamb, and former Representative Matt Gaetz of Florida will also appear.

The event will take place at the Arizona Biltmore Resort at 3:00 PM, with doors opening at 2:00 PM.

Registration can be found here.

Rep. Biggs officially announced his run for Governor of Arizona in late January during an Arizona Republican Party conference, quickly gaining support among state lawmakers against the other Republican candidate, Karrin Taylor Robson, who had already received President Donald Trump's endorsement.

In April, the Arizona Congressman received Trump's endorsement, saying, "President Trump understands true leadership and knows the leadership Arizona needs to thrive."

"I have been grateful for President Trump's endorsement during my congressional races and am humbled he believes in my ability to put Arizona back on the right track," Biggs continued, adding, "When I am Governor, Arizona will support President Trump, honor the Constitution, uphold the law, and quickly become the most prosperous state in the nation."

Americans for Prosperity's Arizona chapter Director, Stephen Shadegg, told Cactus Politics that Trump's dual endorsements are "the best thing for the state because it now levels the playing field in that Trump has now given the people of Arizona two choices, and now the people of Arizona get to go and look t those candidates and decide which one is best for them."
