Crane Demolishes USA Fencing Chair in Transgender Athlete Hearing, 'Shame on You, Bro'

Representative Eli Crane (R-AZ) held nothing back in condemning USA Fencing Chair Damien Lehfeldt in a recent House Oversight hearing for allowing biological men to compete against female athletes, finishing off with, "Shame on you, bro."

Rep. Crane posted the footage to X (formerly Twitter), saying, "Real men are raised to protect women. It's something we're all taught to do. Clearly, we've failed as a culture when we're allowing biological men to dominate women's sports. Evil triumphs when good men do nothing, and we're seeing the consequences of pushing God away."

Within the clip, Rep. Crane began by saying, "Many Americans ask me all the time: 'What is wrong with this country? Why does it appear that we have gone mad?' And I think this subcommittee hearing is a testimony to what has actually happened."

The Arizona Congressman continued by saying the recent controversy surrounding fencer Sophie Turner, who refused to duel Redmond Sullivan, a biological man, and the injuries former volleyball player Payton McNabb suffered at the hands of another biological male player after receiving a volleyball spike to the face demonstrate how "We have pushed God out of everything."

Crane further condemned Democrats for not asking any questions to Turner or McNabb during the hearing, adding, "Have you noticed that they do not care? They do not hear you. They claim to be the party of women. We have got two women sitting right here, and they couldn't care less that you are here. All they want to do is sit here and try and deflect and talk about how we are trying to bully transgender kids."

"But that is not why we are here," the Arizona Congressman continued, "They do not want to acknowledge why we are here. We are here to protect young women."

Crane then turned to Lehfeldt, asking if he was raised to believe in protecting women as a man, which Lehfeldt said he was.

"Then why aren't you doing that, Mr. Lehfeldt?" Crane immediately shot back, "Why aren't you protecting women? Because we have two sitting right here next to you, who will tell you that not only are you not protecting them, but you are depriving them of participating in sports and everything that goes with that."

"Shame on you, bro," Crane concluded.
