Trump Blasts Judge for Ordering Return of Deportation Flight

President Donald Trump (R) has called out U.S. District Judge James Boasberg for being a "radical left lunatic of a judge" who is, according to the President, resisting the national mandate he won in the 2024 election.

Over the weekend, Judge Boasberg ordered the Trump administration to return the deportation flight of alleged members of the Venezuelan Tren de Aragua gang. The administration defied the order, saying it was issued while the flight was over international waters and also falls under the President's jurisdiction with a law from 1798, the Alien Enemies Act.

This legislation allows the president to immediately remove immigrants from "hostile" nations when the government believes the U.S. is being invaded or in a state of war, per NBC News.

President Trump released a message calling out Judge Boasberg, accusing him of being a "troublemaker and agitator" who "didn't win anything" in comparison to Trump's election victory.

"This Radical Left Lunatic of a Judge, a troublemaker and agitator who was sadly appointed by Barack Hussein Obama, was not elected President - He didn’t WIN the popular VOTE (by a lot!), he didn’t WIN ALL SEVEN SWING STATES, he didn’t WIN 2,750 to 525 Counties, HE DIDN’T WIN ANYTHING!" said President Trump regarding the order.

He continued nearly in all caps, signaling his anger and frustration regarding the entire ordeal.

"I WON FOR MANY REASONS, IN AN OVERWHELMING MANDATE, BUT FIGHTING ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MAY HAVE BEEN THE NUMBER ONE REASON FOR THIS HISTORIC VICTORY," Trump said. "I’m just doing what the VOTERS wanted me to do."

Finally, the 45th and 47th President called for Judge Boasberg to be impeached.

"This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges’ I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!! WE DON’T WANT VICIOUS, VIOLENT, AND DEMENTED CRIMINALS, MANY OF THEM DERANGED MURDERERS, IN OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!" concluded Trump.

Representative Brandon Gill (R-TX) heard and responded to Trump's call of duty, announcing articles of impeachment for Judge Boasberg on social media.

"I just introduced Articles of Impeachment against radical activist Judge James Boasberg. He is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors and should be removed from office," said Rep. Gill.

So far, Representatives Eli Crane (R-FL), Andy Ogles (R-TN), and Andrew Clyde (R-GA), have also expressed support for the impeachment proceedings against Judge Boasberg. More support from congressional figures could come soon.
