Kari Lake
Senate candidate Kari Lake (R) has gotten another boost in momentum thanks to the recent Center for Arizona Policy (CAP) Action endorsement and the stamp of approval from former University of Kentucky swimmer and activist Riley Gaines's "Stand With Women scorecard," celebrating the back-to-back endorsements on X (formerly Twitter).
As Lake explained, "CAP Action educates Arizona citizens on public policy issues & encourages civic engagement. They support me because they know I will ALWAYS fight for the best interests of the people of Arizona," offering a link to her campaign site explaining her stances on issues.
According to its website, CAP Action is a group that "educates Arizona citizens on public policy issues pertaining to the sanctity of life, marriage and family, and religious freedom and encourages civic engagement. "
A partnership between the Independent Women's Voice and Riley Gaines unveiled the Stand With Women Scorecard late last week. It highlights which candidates running for office "intend to support legislation that preserves female opportunities and private spaces."
"It is unbelievable that we've reached a place in America where we have to ask candidates if they can define the word 'woman,' and yet here we are. This isn't complicated: our leaders either stand with women or they don't. Increasingly, women and girls are getting hurt on playing fields and losing roster spots and titles to men. This is ludicrous, and it must stop," Gaines said in the article announcing the Scorecard.
"I am honored to earn a spot on @Riley_Gaines_"Stand With Women" Scorecard. As the only woman & mother in this race, I know the challenges facing young women. I also know the threats they are facing from men like Radical Ruben Gallego, who want biological men to invade girl's sports, locker rooms, bathrooms, & showers. In the U.S. Senate, I will fight back against this gender hysteria & stand with women," said Lake on X (formerly Twitter).
These come hot on the heels of Lake's scoring of Senator Lindsey Graham's (R-SC) endorsement, who said she would "be a reliable, conservative vote to secure our border, support law and order, bring down inflation, and give the American people breathing room to regain control of their lives."
