Trump Releases Video In Support of Kari Lake

Former President Donald Trump recently released a video in support of his supporter and ally Kari Lake as she runs for Senate against Representative Ruben Gallego (D-AZ) for Senator Kyrsten Sinema's (I-AZ) seat. He called her "a hard worker" who "loves the state [of Arizona]," and reminded viewers the Grand Canyon State would be "the center of the action" as November comes.

The Lake campaign reposted the video to X (formerly Twitter), quoting Trump and saying, "President Trump needs Arizona to help him win back the White House and take back the Senate majority. We're not going to let him down!"

The brief video released by the former President called the 2024 Election "the most important election in the history of our country," and Arizona is "one of the most critical battlegrounds" for it.

Trump also attacked Rep. Gallego as an "ultra-left-wing extremist" who is "the worst."

Lake, by contrast, was described by Trump as "a hard worker, and she loves the state. She loves our country."

As a result, Trump concluded, "From now until November, we need each and every one of you to pour your heart and your soul into helping achieve a glorious victory in Arizona."

In January, Lake had similarly urged voters to "go beast mode" and "vote like your life depends on it" during an appearance on Real America's Voice's American Sunrise, saying she was "out with a fire in my belly to take back our country, and we all need to have the same energy... beast mode. We are going beast mode."

The backing of former President Trump was only the start for Lake, as she has received endorsements from multiple high-level Republicans such as Senators John Cornyn (R-TX), John Barrasso (R-WY), John Thune (R-SD), Markwayne Mullin (R-OK), Rand Paul (R-KY), Joni Ernst (R-IA).

Representatives who had endorsed Lake include Representatives Byron Donalds (R-FL), Cory Mills (R-FL), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Brian Mast (R-FL).

However, Gallego has maintained a steady lead over Lake in the polls, with the recent Arizona abortion ruling solidifying support to keep him at approximately 6 points ahead of her.
