A House Republican Congressional delegation recently visited the State of Israel, which included Representative Juan Ciscomani (R-AZ). They visited various sites throughout the Jewish State such as Biblical locations and the memorial to the victims of the Re'im music festival massacre of October 7th. Additionally, the delegation spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said "victory is within reach" as the war with Hamas continues.

Rep. Ciscomani issued a brief statement in his press release, saying, "For decades, Israel has been one of our most important partners and a beacon of democracy in the Middle East. Their mission to defeat Hamas is not just crucial for Israel, but for the entire world. This trip has equipped me and my colleagues with a better understanding of what the Israeli people experience every day, and how the United States can continue to support them in this critical mission."

The Arizona Congressman had also posted pictures and videos on X (formerly Twitter), where he prayed at the Western Wall in Jerusalem and visited the site of the October 7th Nova music festival massacre in Re'im perpetrated by Hamas.

"There are no words to describe what I saw and felt as my colleagues and I witnessed firsthand the aftermath of the Oct. 7 attacks at the site of the Nova Music Festival and Kibbutz Nir Oz. Evil exists and it must be defeated. This visit only underscores our need to hold Hamas terrorists fully accountable for these atrocities," Rep. Ciscomani tweeted.

During the meeting with PM Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister assured the Congressional delegation, "victory is within reach. It's very close, and there is no substitute for victory." Additionally, he pointed out that the Israeli government is overwhelmingly opposed to a two-state solution being pushed by some in the international community, saying, "There is a contrary move, an attempt to force, ram down our throats a Palestinian state, which will be another terror haven, another launching ground for an attempt, as was the Hamas state in Gaza. That is opposed by Israelis, overwhelmingly. We just had a vote in the Knesset: 99 to 9."

Other members of the Republican Congressional delegation included Representatives Eli Crane (R-AZ) and Aaron Bean (R-FL).
