Arizona Senate candidate Kari Lake (R) departed the Grand Canyon state to campaign for former President Trump in New Hampshire, ahead of Tuesday’s critical first-in-the-nation primary.
The Arizona Republican tweeted, “Today’s the day New Hampshire! It’s time to end this sham primary so we can focus on defeating Joe Biden and his enablers and taking our country back. Don’t get complacent. Get out and vote for President Donald J. Trump!”

To rally Trump voters in the Granite State, Lake quoted New Hampshire's “Live free or die” motto. “We need to borrow that motto from New Hampshire as a nation for the next ten months because this is a live-free-or-die election. The men & women of this country are sick & tired of watching Joe Biden & his enablers sell this country out. We’re ready for Trump to get back to Washington, D.C., clean it out, drain the swamp, hose it down, & bleach it out,” said Lake.

Lake is one of many prominent Republican figures who are spending their week campaigning in the New England state. Former Republican presidential candidates Vivek Ramaswamy and Tim Scott are two other politicians giving their energy to try and re-elect Trump.
Currently, Trump is showing strong numbers in the polls, despite a late resurgence from competitor Nikki Haley. According to Real Clear Politics, Trump has an average lead over Haley of 19.3 percentage points. If Trump hangs on to win in New Hampshire, then Vivek Ramaswamy and Florida Governor Ron Desantis (R) may be a big reason why, after both candidates suspended their campaigns before New Hampshire, and instead endorsed the former president. Many political experts and polling numbers show that the majority of Ramaswamy and DeSantis voters will choose Trump on Tuesday night.

As for Lake, she isn’t taking any time away from campaigning for herself to become Arizona’s next senator.
