In a recent interview with the Boston Globe, Secretary of State John Kerry praised President-elect Trump's "thoughtful" cabinet picks of General John Mattis as Defense Secretary and Rex Tillerson as Secretary of State.
This comes at a time when many Democrats have been heavily critical of President-elect Donald Trump and his cabinet picks.
When asked about the roles they'd have in their respective positions, Secretary Kerry chose to remain open-minded.
"Let’s wait and see. I’m not going to get ahead of the decisions that they make," he said.
In addition, he explained that he wasn't going to make any assumptions "because governing is very, very different when you’re confronted with the realities. And I think one of the things people make a huge mistake in doing is ginning themselves up over guessing. I’m not going to guess."
