Ducey looks to bring more business to Arizona

President-elect Donald Trump will officially be taking control of the US on January 20, and it goes without saying that businesses across the country are welcoming Trump’s pro-America, pro-business agenda, and look to benefit from the prospect of  a “greater American” economy.

For the past several years, former Texas Governor Rick Perry (R) and Florida Governor Rick Scott (R) have been challenging each other on who could create the most jobs, and who could attract more businesses to their respective states.

With Perry out of office and now nominated to be Secretary of Energy in the Trump Administration, Gov. Scott is now the big man on campus when it comes to job creation, but is there room for another pro-business governor?

While Arizona isn't exactly Texas or Florida in terms of geographic size and population (not by a long shot), Arizona is a pretty big state, especially when it comes down to elections.

Arizona Governor Doug Ducey seems to be positioning himself to challenge Gov. Scott, as the popular Arizonan has been traversing the state promoting business and even ventured to Mexico to promote trade between the state and its partners south of the border.

Look, competing with the 1,200,000 jobs Gov. Scott has already created since first taking office in 2011 is a daunting task, to say the least.

Ducey probably wont be able to go toe-to-to with Scott on how many jobs he can create, but he could make a jobs push big enough to receive some mention.

Ducey, Scott and other pro-business governors will not have a partner in the White House that could make their jobs just that much easier.
