Anti-Trump Rally set for Today at AZ Capitol

Today there will be a large rally to protest the Electoral College election of Donald J. Trump as President of The United States. The Rally is part of a nation-wide effort to pressure the Electoral College to vote for someone else and kick the presidetial election to the GOP controlled House of Representatives.

The effort is organized by a group named Unite for America, and they are organizing rallies at most state capitols today to coincide with the meeting of the Electoral College. The Arizona rally will take place in front of the AZ House of Representatives.

Unite for America Spent over half a million dollars putting this ad on televison over the weekend explaining their efforts:

The efforts seems like a moot point considering that if they were successfull and blocked Donald Trump from becoming president via the Electoral College, the decision would go to the GOp Controlled House of Representatives. Seems hard to believe that after a month and a half of transition, countless Republican appointments, olive branches extended and Trump's election night win that the GOP controlled house of Represenatitves would end up electing someone other than Donald Trump.
