Republicans Hold Early Voting Lead in Colorado

Today, the Denver Post reported that Republicans hold an early voting lead in Colorado. This comes after Democrats held the advantage until Thursday. Because of how tied the race is, reports claim that Independents will ultimately decide whether Donald Trump (R) or Hillary Clinton (D) ends up getting the state's 9 electoral college points.

652,380 ballots have been cast by Republicans, and registered Democrats have cast 645,020 ballots. In terms of percentages, 35.2% of Republicans, 34.8% of Democrats and 28.5% Independents.
