Ahead of the 2016 election one of the harshest Trump critics from his own party was Senator Joff Flake. He obviously didn't see the onslaught coming, and with his own re-election bid coming up, he has dramatically changed his tune. Flake is already facing a challenge from Dr. Kelli Ward in the GOP primary, with more challengers sure to follow.
Flake's twitter account is the only proof one needs of how NeverTrump flake used to be, even suggesting he withdraw from the presidential race:
However anti-Trump he was, Flake has flaked on his opposition to the new President Elect.
We shall see in the coming months if President Trump warms to Flake.
